**NEW**The Northeastern Regional Police department would like to announce the retirement of Officer Joel Klinedinst. Officer Klinedinst began his career on August 16, 1982 with the East Manchester Township Police Department prior to the establishment of Northeastern Regional Police.

Officer Klinedinst has served with distinction the past Twenty-Eight years. Officer Klinedinst was a K-9 Officer, Motor Carrier Safety Officer, Field Training Officer and Accident Reconstructionist.

All of us at Northeastern Regional Police wish him well in his future endeavors wherever they may take him and hope he has a long and enjoyable retirement.

**NEW**Recently, there has been a rash of thefts in the Mount Wolf area involving subjects removing external heat/air pump units from houses. The suspects are targeting abandoned houses or houses that are up for sale. It is not known if they are committing the thefts during the day or night hours. Anyone having information that may lead to the arrest of these subjects is asked to contact the Northeastern Regional Police Department at 266-6195 or 911. If you are concerned that something you may be seeing is suspicious in nature whereby a company is servicing an air/heat pump please call 911 and have an officer dispatched to investigate.
