Recent Criminal Activity
**NEW**On October 20th, 2009 multiple residences in East Manchester Township on Juniper Court were burglarized. Actor(s)s entered the homes and removed gold jewelery and other items. A person of interest was seen at approximately 1100 Hrs on the morning of the thefts. The person was described as a black male approximately 6 foot tall, clean cut, wearing a white collared shirt. Anyone having any informaion involving these thefts please contact 911 or the Northeastern Regional Police Department at 717-266-6195.
On August 27th, 2009 the Sherman Oaks development in East Manchester Township was the victim of multiple thefts from vehicles. Among the items taken were GPS units, Ipods, MP3 Players, DVD Players, Nintendo DS game system, etc.. Please lock your vehicles and doors at night. A majority of these thefts were made when the actor(s) checked the doors and found them open! Anyone having any informaion involving these thefts please contact 911 or the Northeastern Regional Police Department at 717-266-6195.
On 6-15-09 the Cold Spring Apartments on Park Street was the victim of several vehicle break-ins. Several items were stolen from various vehicles. The actor was described as a white male approximately 5'08" with a thin build and a shaved head. The estimated age of the actor is late teens or early 20's. There have been reports of a scam that is currently hitting the York area including East Manchester, Mount Wolf and Dover areas. To our knowledge, the scam/phone calls that have been received by citizens are NOT RELATED TO POLICE OR FIRE DEPARTMENT employees attempting to raise money. Please be aware of this fact. If you are contacted by a person identifying themselves as either a police officer or a fireman, please get their name and department information including a good telephone number and tell them you will call them back. Then contact your local police agency by utilizing the 911 system to report the phone call.
